About us: the Community's views
Following community consultation the designers have proposed improvements including:
- A pavilion, all-weather cafe, information centre and office
- Improved entrances and paths
- New relaxation areas and park shelters
- New junior playground and water play area
- New skate bowls and multi-use games area
- New tennis courts and sports pitches
- Reinsatement of the croquet lawn
- Restoration and enhancement of lake
- Reinstatement of historical features and gardens
- Development of sensory gardens and wilderness gardens
- Better signposting and historic interpretation
